Another Human is looking for an organized, proactive and creative designer to join the studio as a part time interior designer. The current position would be focused on assisting with residential and commercial interior design projects as needed, though an interest in furniture design is encouraged. The position has the potential to grow into a full time position as the studio continues to grow! 

Primary Tasks:

• Assist with interior design project administration - gathering quotes, tracking orders, updating project schedules, etc.

• Creating/editing design presentations

• Pulling fabric and material samples for projects

• AutoCAD plans, elevations and furniture details as necessary

• Construction coordination as needed - managing schedules, visiting job sites, etc. 

Requirements:

• Available 20 hours per week

  • Hours may fluctuate given needs of a project and employee’s availability 

  • Ideally some in-person time each week (with COVID-safety precautions taken)

• AutoCAD strongly preferred

• Outstanding organizational skills, ability to quickly and flexibly problem solve

• Professional communication skills for phone calls/meetings with vendors and clients

• Other programs a plus - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketchup

• Start date - as soon as possible 

• Rate commensurate with experience
